The perfume hoarder!

It is crazy how true this statement is. A perfume can instantly give you a boast of confidence, a ‘clin d’oeil’ of sensuality and strength. Some enjoy very strong lady-like spicy perfume whilst others like me prefer soft floral, sweet and musky scents as the strong ones dizzy me up.

Here comes a few perfumes out of my collection that I wanted to write about. CERRUTI 1881

Nino Cerruti was known as ‘’the youngest of the great classics.” "Fleur de lin" was her signature flower which she incorporated in this one too giving a touch of softness to this fragrance along with a powdery floral scent. Wearing this perfume makes me feel fresh and clean leaving a vintage smell as it fades. I have never passed someone without getting compliments about how I good smell whenever I wear this. Cerruti 1881 is so addictive; it is by far my favorite perfume and it does last long even after washing your clothes or a shower the scent still remains. JEAN PAUL GAUTIER

2011 Classique by Jean Paul Gautier is as it name states a classical summery perfume with a touch of freshness. Perfect for warm weather, the romantics will love it. The base of the fragrance is the jasmine and ylang-ylang along with a fresh musk and vanilla scent. And Oh My God!! The bottles of JPG are just irresistibly epic! Tribal tattoos and corsets that adorn the bottles leave a hint of rebellion, courage, sensuality and mystery to the ones wearing JPG’s perfumes. Despite having a soft scent it is definitely a fragrance for confident women. FLOWER BY CYNTIA ROWLEY - AVON COSMETICS UK

This perfume belonged to my aunt which she bought in the UK years ago. In 2008, Avon Cosmetics linked up forces with Cynthia Rowley to create this luxurious fragrance targeting young and free spirited women. The mixture of floral, sensual spices and musk make you feel playful and coquette. I guess it was her favorite perfume of all because even though her bottle finished a long time ago she never threw it away and the bottle still smells irresistible! Nowadays the perfume has become very rare in the market and the price also has gone up but I must say out of all the Avon perfumes I tried, this by far is my ‘precious gem’ and from the look of it, you can see that this perfume has been with me for some time now. Lovely is a powdery and intimate fragrance. It contains soft citruses and woody notes which fades into a soft lavender scent and white musk. Despite having a classical fragrance, it still smells modernity which is pretty cool. Lovely is perfect for a romantic date or a Valentine’s Day gift you would want to have. This will surely make heads turn!

INTIMATELY BY VICTORIA BECKAM

This perfume is simply luxury in a bottle. Introduced in 2006, this perfume has mainly lotus breeze and fresh bergamot scent. It seduces you with the hint of tuberose and fades into a powdery vanilla musk and rose scent. The longevity of the fragrance is indeed amazing without being too strong. I would say this is a perfume perfect for fall season. If you haven’t given these a try yet, I hope my blog inspire you to. They are worth trying and are available in local perfume shops or on sale in the official websites of the brands.
