During the weekend, there is nothing that beats good and hearty pancakes for breakfast. Accompanied with fruits, chocolate or maple syrup you can make a huge difference to its taste and looks. Simply yummy!

Today I will share with you the recipe that I used to make these yummy pancakes which took less than 30 minutes.

For the ingredients you will need:

  • 1 and 3/4 cup of milk

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • 2 cups self-raising flour (if you don't have self-raising flour, you can use a mixture of all-purpose flour and baking powder)

  • 1/3 cup caster sugar (or basically any type of sugar you want. The amount depends on your liking.)

Method:

  1. Whisk the milk, eggs, sugar and the vanilla essence together until everything is well mixed.

  2. Add the flour little by little and whisk it in a circular motion to prevent any lumps to form. Continue whisking until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.

  3. Heat up your non-sticky pan on a medium heat. (No need to add cooking oil but if you do not have a non-stick pan then you may have to use some oil to prevent the pancake from sticking to the pan.)

  4. Use any utensil you have that is easy to transfer the mixture to the pan. Use about 1/4 cup of the mixture to make one pancake. However it depends on your preference on the size and thickness you want.

  5. Cook until bubbles stop to form and turn to cook on the other side for about 1 minute and it's done.

I used maple syrup as garnish on top. But be free to add anything you want. Enjoy your hot pancakes!

Let me know how yours turned out!
