Maybelline makeup haul!

So, recently my local drugstore had a huge sale on Maybelline products and eventually I bought some! (no surprise!)

The first thing I picked up was the Maybelline Rebel lipstick in 09 which I had my eyes on for a while. It is a bright pink cool tone color lipstick. When you first apply the lipstick, it glides on really easily because of its creamy and buttery texture. As it sets up, it dries onto the lips without being too sticky. It is smudgeproof and stays in place for a long period of time, which is always great for foodies out there!

Now the second thing I picked up is because I was running out of my current eye liner, which is the Pastel Dipliner. I was looking for a fine tip eye liner which would be great for a cat-eye look. Then I saw the Maybelline Hyper Sharp Liner. It has a really fine tip which is good for precision and is easy to use. If you are new to to using eye liners I will recommend this one as it is workable and can be easily corrected using some eye makeup remover and cotton bud. It stays for the whole day without budging. The only negative thing is that it is not super pigmented, so you might need to apply 2-3 coats. However, for a product that is so affordable at $7 it is really good.

The last thing that I got is the Maybelline Hyper Curl Volume Express waterproof mascara. As it was on sale I hopped on the occasion and bought it. I also wanted to test if it is really waterproof and I have to say my first try was more than satisfactory. It is a pretty good mascara.
